The "Plaza Cubierta" is one of the many elements in the project "Ciudad Universitaria" by Raul Villanueva. In these pictures we can see how Villanueva uses light to help some elements stand out from others or maybe to create a space that is only for circulation. Not only he uses light but also the shadows to protect people from the sun and allow them to stay for long periods of time in the same place.
